Using asian carp as catfishing bait
Does using asian carp as catfishing bait work? In this fresh video prepared by Steve Douglas the Catfish Dude, you are going see which type of asian carp works best to use as bait for your catfish. Steve found this company called Dark Water Premium Baits and decided to go test it our on the Ohio river a couple of days ago. This catfish bait was made of prepared and cured Asian carp.

00:22 looks like we have some asian carp

00:25 and just plain asian carp and we do have
00:27 some frozen skipjacks but we’re gonna
00:29 try for the first two hours
00:30 to use nothing but this manufactured
00:32 stuff let’s prepare stuff so
00:34 hang tight we’re gonna get some baits in
00:36 the water we’re gonna suspend a few
00:37 baits
00:38 uh we was gonna try to drag but there’s
00:40 a little bit more current and wind that
00:41 i
00:42 thought there was gonna be so we’ll just
00:44 have to suspend most of our baits until
00:45 we
00:46 get to another situation we can drag i’m
00:48 going to try this
00:49 age and just regular asian carp
00:52 right off the bat
00:56 and this stuff’s been in packages for
00:57 quite some time
01:01 but i guess the trick would be to open
01:05 it this way instead of just dousing into
01:07 it because it is in a ziploc bag
01:16 my first uh reaction i thought was going
01:19 to be really bad but
01:21 it’s not it actually it actually smells
