fishing in the morning too but we're gonna get some bait we got bluegill today and shell cracker and and a
chicken but I think we're just gonna start off with the fish bait first all right so we're gonna get them cut up

I usually make two baits out of that that fish what's that two yeah two baits I usually

and low carbs stay away from the uh the bars they're not they're not

skit with the colon blow series oh yeah Cosmo that's what he got
if you're not hanging up you're not on the fish well hopefully
we'll hang up on a fish I think I think that one on the far left was a fish at first
and I got the poop emoji out no carbs as hard yet is
I did it once before I did it in 2017 I lost like 85 pounds
and then covid kicked us out of school and working from home and I was working from the boat
wasn't walking I wasn't walking a lot
uh Missouri River fishing has been slow too hot and low water wow bacon the
bestest snack food forever and ever and ever I have a bunch of gray hair and
look at my beard yeah it happens
luckily they say that men who who go gray look better when they go gray I
guess because we look more distinct and wise I just think that I I look
stinkier and people were like why you just proves you're not as dumb as
everybody thought you were because you made it long enough to get great yeah there you go maybe that's it
mmm bacon I don't want anything to eat right now
everything's moving around in there it got so rough on the water the other day actually uh put my kill switch strap on to come
back to the dock that's tough

what happens after you eat yeah that's that's the reason I don't yeah that's what I mean by distracted
I don't need to get distracted by poop I'm gonna make pasta salad with the

I plan to do some traveling here soon as long as the you know money situation works out and time
situation works out I kind of mentioned thinking about doing a Texas trip in November
the week before Thanksgiving to Texas I just said Texas but the catch a buffalo carp
so uh I kind of mentioned that to my boss and I was like hey how would you how would
you like to not have your assistant principal a week before Thanksgiving break [Music]

you don't go in their habitat but that muddy river would be all of their habitat

so we're just gonna go up River probably about a mile or so
uh there's a current break which starts the rice field and so we'll uh we'll go up there
to try to avoid some of this grass [Applause]
what rods and reels we're using Anvil rods and PC fun chaos reels
something is not right with it he had them catch on fire and melt at one point
oh yeah the the trolling motor I burnt the plug out of it one time
we'll save him for an emergency I got one big Copperhead brim in there
I said we'll we'll keep him in the live world just in case of emergency here
look at this boys up north probably I've never seen a copperheads hang on yeah
there you go I don't know if you can see it you got
enough white on there or not you see how his head's all copper colored
pretty cool that's pretty big I'm 6'3 in about 275 and it's bigger than my hand that's a big boy they get
way bigger than that too I should that's what I should be doing this time of year
I should be uh fishing deep for those Copperhead brim but I'm stubborn
I want a catfish that's what my mom my wife says I want to catch a catfish
beef Stewart that's all we used to do John was just panfish when I first met her I put her on a
shell cracker bed and she was hooked and I I every once in a while I would
I'd catch a little catfish on the brim buster and there's one day we're in this Creek back up here uh behind Cypress Gardens
and I caught two blue cats in a row and she got frustrated so I want to
catch a catfish she got so frustrated now she don't she
don't care about catfishing at all

yeah it's always tough to fish the main Channel below the rice fields when they're running water or making power because
all that grass gets lodged or dislodged in the rice fields and uh you know it just gathers on the

these are heavy actions but they have a shipment coming from China and uh it's stuck offshore
so he's ready to open back up the shop he's ready to you know open back up the website and it'll have lighter action
rods like medium heavies and I think an S-Class Rod too we talked about it on on the real deal

that's a no-brainer though a lot of people go to the beach yeah like summer is the visiting town
but yeah to him it's like no I want to go up there and it's time to do the whole of us we get tired of 55 degree
creeps

Quantum you can get them off Amazon they're not that expensive and you can you plug them in to you get they come
with a wall receptacle or you can plug them into your cigarette lighter in your car as you're going out and fishing and
you can hold them probably about seven and a half eight hours on one of them with the UV lights on them and they have
little brackets that'll lock onto your boat or you can put them on a rod holder or whatever on the bank just stick them on the ground they have they come with
those little shop attachments like those little shop lights you can buy at like Northern Tool to stick in your garage they have all those little bases cool so
they're called quantums quantums and then just unplug them and use them for about seven eight hours
they look pretty good I almost had the Quantum Leap things on my head just now
